About the RoleYou will help build the software that governs how a vehicle accelerates and decelerates. In this role, you join a team working with longitudinal vehicle control, where propulsion, energy storage and brake systems need to work together in a precise, energy-efficient and rewarding way.
You will contribute to applications for a new core vehicle control platform in an advanced embedded environment. The work spans model-based development as well as C and C++, and you will collaborate closely with teams across the organisation. It is a strong opportunity if you enjoy complex control systems, embedded software and technology that has a clear effect on vehicle behaviour.
Job Description- You will develop and update functionality for core system ECUs using model-based methods and C++.
- You will build CI test cases connected to the functionality you implement.
- You will debug, test and trace software during integration.
- You will work with application frameworks and contribute to how applications are handled across lifecycle and execution contexts.
- You will collaborate with neighbouring teams and partners to align interfaces, behaviour and integration.
- You will help drive software quality in a distributed electrical system with a strong focus on control engineering.
Requirements- At least 3 years of software development experience in C++ and Python.
- Experience in Control Engineering.
- Experience with automated software testing, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
- Experience of developing applications using application frameworks and handling life cycle and execution contexts.
- Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture.
- Experience with test tools such as Wireshark and Canalyzer/CANoe.
- University degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Applied Physics.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.
Nice to have- Experience from model-based Simulink development in an embedded software environment.
- Experience in Ethernet communication.
- Basic knowledge in Diagnostics, SWDL and Network Communications.
