About the position
We at Perido are now looking for a Senior Investment Manager for our client. The position is based in Eskilstuna.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Evaluation & Approval
- Lead feasibility assessments and financial analyses for potential investments.
- Prepare investment recommendations and decision materials.
- Assess strategic rationale, commercial potential, returns, and key risks.
- Coordinate stakeholders and internal approval processes.
Investment Execution & Portfolio Management
- Support the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and due diligence to valuation, negotiation, execution, and closing.
- Coordinate commercial, financial, legal, tax, and technical due diligence.
- Support transaction documentation and post-investment performance, risk management, and value creation.
Financing & Capital Markets
- Support European equity, debt, project financing, and other capital-raising activities.
- Build relationships with banks, investment funds, industrial investors, family offices, and other capital partners.
- Assist with financing strategies, investor materials, presentations, and negotiations.
Market & Industry Research
- Monitor capital markets, investment trends, competitors, transactions, and valuations.
- Research European new-energy, battery, advanced manufacturing, and related industrial sectors.
- Prepare market analyses, benchmarks, investment reports, and management presentations.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with technical, finance, legal, tax, operations, and business teams.
- Ensure accurate information, strong governance, and compliance with European regulations.
- Coordinate between European operations, China headquarters, and external advisers.

Qualifications:
- At least five years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate investment, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or a similar field
- Experience with an international investment bank, private equity fund, financial institution, or major corporate investment team is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of the European investment and financing market, transaction practices, and relevant legal and regulatory environment
- Proven experience in investment analysis, financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, transaction structuring, negotiation, and execution
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to independently evaluate investment opportunities and identify key risks
- Excellent stakeholder management, resource coordination, negotiation, data analysis, and report-writing skills
- Ability to prepare clear and persuasive investment memoranda, financing proposals, management presentations, and decision-making materials
- Fluent English and professional working proficiency
Preferred:
- Experience in new energy, lithium-ion batteries, automotive, advanced manufacturing, industrial technology, or related sectors
- Successful experience supporting financing or investment transactions for Chinese manufacturing companies operating in Europe
- Established relationships with European investors, banks, investment funds, financial advisers, or other relevant capital market participants
- Strong understanding of both European business practices and Chinese corporate management and decision-making processes
- Currently based in Europe and able to work effectively in a cross-border and multicultural environment
- Relevant academic background in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, law, engineering, or a related discipline
Contract type and hours
